Volunteer Opportunities

  • Nevada Ticket Sellers Eat to Live
    1. Role: Selling Nevadas on Wednesdays - collecting money and making change. Starting at 11:30am to 1pm. Looking for a seller for each lunch, but if you can help 1 or 2 Wednesdays, let us know.
    2. Commitment: Wednesdays
  • Festival of Trees
    1. Role: Raffle ticket sellers. Tickets will be sold from November 4th to November 24th. Just looking to see who would be interested. The day, time, and location has not been determined yet.
    2. Commitment: Varied Schedule
  • Christmas Party 2024
    1. Role: Couple of volunteer opportunities! 1. Decorating in November after the 11th 2. Prize canvasing businesses starting soon.
    2. Commitment: Varied Schedule
  • Building Handyman
    1. Role: Help out repairing small things, being available when inspections or work is being done at the centre.
    2. Commitment: Varied Schedule
  • 50th Anniversary Committee
    1. Role: Yes! 2025 is our 50th Anniversary! What fun! Help come up with ideas and plan our celebration for next year!
    2. Commitment: Occasional Meeting & Your Own Time
  • Eat to Live Wednesdays
    1. Role: Clean-up, Set-up and Serve (no table and chairs involved). These volunteers have their meal cost reduced to $8 per person.
    2. Commitment: You can volunteer for 1 Wednesday a month or more.
  • Nevada Ticket Sellers In-House Bingo
    1. Role: Selling Nevadas - collecting money and making change. Bingo every 1st and 3rd Tuesday. Start selling at 11:30am to approximately 2pm. Looking for a seller for each bingo, but if you can sell for 1 or 2 dates, we will work with that as well.
    2. Commitment: November 5 & 19
